A SUPERB FRAGMENT OF BRAHMA BAYON

His heads explain themselves by the following legend: when he was creating the universe, Brahma begets a feminine deity named Shatarûpa, the one to the hundred superb shapes. Brahma immediately fell from it in love. Shatarûpa moved then in numerous directions to avoid the insistent look of Brahma But where that she went, Brahma created itself a head to be able to continue to see it.
