Sakyamuni Buddha, represented seated in dhyanasana on a throne, legs crossed, symbol of Serenity and the hands in the gesture of bumisparsamudra, the left hand on the left leg and the right hand which touches the ground. It is a representation of the act which Bouddha achieved under the tree of illumination "Bhodi" to invoke the Earth as witness the fact that it was not afraid to confront and defeat Mara, God tempter, symbol of the attachment to the things of the world.

Wearing a dress samghati, the belt passes above its left shoulder, his face has an expression meditative, the lowered eyes and the smiling lips, the concave ears, the hair are narrowly curved and the Usnisa finished surmounted of a flame. Patina, very beautiful quality, brown lacquer, trace of oxidation and gilding. The style U-Thong B is characteristic of the religious art of this period.
